On the heels of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, is GIVING TUESDAY, a global effort reminding us to give a gift to our community that has cared for us and our loved ones.
This past Tuesday, November 28, from 5:30 – 8:30 a.m. on the corner of Bishop and King Streets we celebrated Giving Tuesday! Mahalo to our partners for joining in on this effort – Bank of Hawaii, Hawaii Gives Back magazine, Kakaako Kitchen, Joseph Esser photobooth, and Show and Tell audio/visual services.

HCF and Bank of Hawaii joined forces to offer ten $500 grants to community members who were selected from the Giving Tuesday drawing. Congratulations to the winners and to the nonprofits they chose to receive grants.
