Making a Difference

Most couples would head for the beach or the golf course for some well-deserved R&R. But when Richard and Pat arrived in West Maui, they saw a community in need.

Maui Office

The Maui office, which also serves the islands of Lāna‘i and Moloka‘i, sits nestled beneath the eastern flank of the West Maui Mountains and the Iao Valley.

We offer information and support to nonprofit organizations on all three islands, such as grants from funds administered by Hawai‘i Community Foundation including the Fred Baldwin Memorial Foundation, the Lāna‘i Community Benefit Fund and the Valley Isle Vision Fund.

Our staff is experienced and a well-connected resource on the island. We can work with individuals and organizations that are interested in exploring ways they can give. For ideas about how you can make a difference, see a list of the funds that have been established by donors to benefit the island of Maui.

This collaboration includes working with our Leadership Council which helps our staff on Maui to further the Foundation’s mission. These community-minded volunteers open doors to form new partnerships and provide advice on issues relevant to Maui.
